The presentation of the Guruli grapevine and wine cluster was held on April 26, at the Ivlita library in Chokhatauri. Its founders are local wine producers and the doors of the cluster are open to all interested entities. The organization’s mission is to improve the quality of Guruli wine, increase production and awareness, develop wine tourism and new key markets.
The presentation was attended by farmers and enterprises involved in grape and wine production, local self-government, civil sector and media.
At the beginning of the presentation, the director of the project – “Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)” Tamar Ghlonti introduced the project’s achievements to the participants and spoke about the importance of cooperation between sectors. The future visions of the cluster and the action plan for the next two years were presented by one of its founders, the representative of “Kobidzei Marni”, Davit Kobidze. The audience was interestingly involved and many expressed their desire to join the cluster.
