On June 8, an employment forum was held in Ozurgeti. Its purpose was to promote employment for youth, internally displaced persons, people without work experience, long-term unemployed and other vulnerable groups.
In addition, the task of the forum was to understand the importance of cooperation between sectors for the improvement of employment opportunities in the regions of Georgia.
Job seekers had the opportunity to participate in interactive seminars on the topics of: job readiness and volunteering.
Within the framework of the forum, panel discussions were held on the challenges in the labor market, the role of cooperation between sectors and ways to improve employment opportunities. Attention was paid to such an important issue as experience based on learning and successful practices implemented so far.
More than 300 people participated in all events organized within the framework of the employment forum. including the representation of the European Union in Georgia, members of the state employment promotion agency, vocational schools, public organizations, local self-government; Employers and job seekers, local business entities, business consulting companies and other interested parties.
