On April 28, 2023, the Institute of Innovations and Changes, in partnership with the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), held a thematic meeting in Ozurgeti within the framework of the EU-supported “Learn for Employment” project, the aim of which was cooperation between sectors to overcome problems in the field of education and employment. Discussing current challenges and ways to improve the situation. The event was attended by representatives of local self-government, non-governmental organizations, the State Employment Promotion Agency, the media, educational and business sectors. The non-executive director of the Education Development and Employment Center, Natia Namicheishvili, and the deputy director of College Blacks, Maya Toidze, discussed the role and importance of career orientation and vocational education services for employment, dual on the international and Georgian practice of education.
