Project “Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)” funded by European Union presentation was organized by Guria Youth Resource Center.
Event was conducted online platform because of covid 19 restriction to prevent speading virus and more than 30 people attended including local self-government, public organizations, vocational college, representative of the employment and Social Services Agency, media and other interested persons.
Mrs. Nino Kochishvili, representative of European delegation greeted the audience, and project director Tamar Ghlonti informed the participants about the activities planned within the project.
An important part was devoted to one of the components – The importance of job market research and review of specificity, which was introduced by this project coordinator Otar Revishvili to the audience.
Mr. Zurab Nasaraia-State representative in Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri and Lanchkhuti municipalities talked about the project importance in the field of region economic development. Participants also talked about the perspectives of inter-sectoral cooperation in terms of employment and professional development of vulnerable groups.
Project “Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)” is funded by European Union and implemented by Guria Youth Resource Center in partnership with Georgian Farmers’ Association, Institute of Democracy, and Association “Atinati”. Project takes place in Guria, Adjara and Samegrelo.The period includes 36 months.
