Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)

The Institute for Innovation and Change (formerly Guria Youth Resource Center) is selecting participants for the Apprenticeship Program within EU-funded project “Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)”. The program envisages mastery of professions through apprenticeship in the following business organizations: Ltd. “Anaseuli Combine: Apprentice of vodka distillation operator. Within the framework of the program, those interested will learn: distillation of fermented khilfaf (distillation), classification-storage of obtained alcohol. Metal Service Ltd: Zeinkl’s apprentice.

Within the framework of the program, the applicants will learn: the principle of operation of the sheet steel cutting machine, the rules of its operation, the order of work with the machine, the use of hand drills and cutting tools, (Barbell, micrometer) Familiarity and practical use, cutting and processing simple details to size.

  • Young people under the age of 35 with secondary education – who have not been able to get higher or vocational education due to economic hardship and belong to any vulnerable category (low-income or low-income families, former migrants, former prisoners or probationers, etc.)
  • Young people under the age of 35 beyond education – with incomplete secondary education or who have dropped out of school at the basic level;
  • Young job seekers under the age of 35 with a higher education – a member of a low-income family;
  • Women – facing economic and social difficulties (age is unlimited).

Applications will be accepted through August 30, 2021.
