USAID’s civic education program summarizes the results of the 2023-2024 academic year in Guria – on May 28, a presentation of the results of the USAID civic education program was held in the conference hall of Ozurgeti #1 public school.
The members of the student self-governments and civic clubs of the program partner 36 public schools presented outstanding activities, projects and initiatives financed by the small grants component of the same program.
At the event, members of Ozurgeti Public School #1 Civic Club presented an interactive performance/flash mob on the topic of addiction.
During the event, certificates of thanks and symbolic gifts were given to the presenting students and teachers, as well as to the winners of the competitions organized within the program and students participating in internships. At the meeting, the winning schools of the technical competition were named: Kokhnari and Khidistavi public schools from Chokhatauri municipality, and Tskhemlishkhidi public school from Ozurgeti municipality.
Teachers, students, representatives of mass media, PH International and USAID attended the event.
