Marine Khinkiladze is a specialist in sewing products. As he says, the pandemic period was a real challenge for him, it was during this period that he decided to return to his favorite activity. The idea came up to make the collars with his own hands.
\nBecause he believes that the collar is an important accessory, it not only gives a finished look to the outfit but also helps to express the individuality of the person. At first, he made collars from leftover, useless pieces, giving them a new life. Soon, Marine’s works received special approval and great interest, and accordingly, he decided to turn this activity into his main source of income.
\nBy chance, he found the “Democracy Institute” announcement regarding startup grants on the social network, soon he sent the business idea, went through all the stages, including an interview with the Startup Grants Council, entrepreneurial skills trainings. He turned the business idea into a business plan, won the startup grants competition and, accordingly, obtained funding.
\nMarine is currently making collars with different materials, each piece is unique. As she says, embroidery is her innate talent, it is with the help of embroidery that she decorates accessories with various Georgian ornaments, and this niche makes each work even more precious and valuable.
\nCurrently, marine collars are very popular on social networks. The equipment purchased with the startup grant will provide an opportunity to serve a large number of customers quickly and with quality.<\/p>\n
