Eka Kolbaia – 42 years old, displaced from Abkhazia. Eka became interested in the apprenticeship program announced within the project and came to “Atinati”. After receiving the information, he joined the theoretical and practical trainings organized by the non-governmental organization “Mardianobi”.<\/p>\n
During his internship, he underwent various trainings on:<\/p>\n
Legal issues and aspects related to NGO registration and operation;
\nBasic issues of small business management, drawing up a business plan;
\nPeculiarities of IP taxation, general information about IPs. (Liability of AIP\/how it differs from other legal entities.);<\/p>\n
Sources of income of a non-entrepreneurial legal entity (who can be grant-giving and receiving entities);
\nrecognition of the grant as income (signing a grant agreement with the donor. administration of expenses and income);
\nDonation, membership fees, economic activity in A(a)IP;<\/p>\n
VAT-exempt operations (register of persons benefiting from benefits);
\nproperty tax liability in A(a)ip;
\nDeclaration of profit tax and peculiarities in A(a)ip.
\nMarketing issues:
\nAdvertising and promotion, management of social platforms – Facebook and Instagram, forming information correctly and succinctly and posting it on time, taking quality photos, using various methods to attract customers.<\/p>\n
Eka has shown herself very well as an active and motivated person who is willing to acquire new skills and knowledge. “Mardianoba” was looking for just such a person, and after successfully completing the internship, Eka was employed in a social enterprise newly opened by “Mardianoba” – a second-hand clothing store, with the income of which “Mardianoba” helps Ukrainian refugees. With the knowledge gained during the training, Eka took part in the small business development competition announced by CHCA and hopes that her business plan will be financed.<\/p>\n
