🔴 Institute for Change and Innovation  within the framework of the project ” Modernization of Vocational Education Systems in the Field of Agriculture of Georgia Phase 2 ” funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Georgia and the Swiss Cooperation Office in the South Caucasus (SDC) and the EU-funded project ” Skills for employment and Cooperation – Tailoring Opportunities for Regions of Georgia (SECTORs)”, announces the admission of candidates for the preparatory course ” Decorative gardening“. Candidates living in Guria can participate in the course.
🔴 Individuals involved in the short-term training course will undergo a 50-hour course of both theoretical and practical training. The course will be led by experts from the Agricultural Development Association (ADA).
✅ After completing the preparatory course, participants will have the following skills:
• Rules for propagation and care of plants belonging to the botanical family of cypress
• Basic methods of propagation and care of Juniperus L. and Thuja L.
Orchard (Taxus L.) and Podocarpus (Podocarpus L. Herit.) – Basic propagation and care methods
• Methods of care and propagation of ornamental plants belonging to the botanical family of beetles.
• Rules for propagation and care of plants belonging to the botanical family of barberry and laurel
• Modern agro-rules of vineyard cultivation, care and other formation
• Methods of maintenance and propagation of ornamental plants of the botanical family of tea and manna
• Rules for propagation and care of plants belonging to the botanical family of Shindisebs and Pshatis
Rules for propagation and care of ornamental plants, representative of the botanical family of honeysuckle
Rules for propagation and care of ornamental plants belonging to the Botanical family of conifers and olives
• Rules for propagation and care of ornamental plants, representative of the botanical family of noctaginaceae, magpies and hydrangeas

Participants must belong to the following target category:

  • Local farmers
  • Young people under the age of 35 with secondary education – who have not been able to get higher or vocational education due to economic hardship and belong to any vulnerable category (low-income or low-income families, former migrants, former prisoners or probationers, etc.)
  • Young people under the age of 35 beyond education – with incomplete secondary education or who have dropped out of school at the basic level;
  • Young job seekers under the age of 35 with a higher education – a member of a low-income family;
  • Women – facing economic and social difficulties (age is unlimited)
  • Significant attention will be paid to the participation of women, IDPs and people with disabilities (in the latter case, their skills and abilities will be taken into account and matched with the training and employment programs offered under the project) in all target regions.
